THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION

Mark built the Content team at The FA, working with departments across Wembley Stadium and St. George’s Park. He:

  • Created and led content strategies for every major FA event, including England Men’s participation in the 2014 World Cup and 2016 European Championship, England Women’s 2015 World Cup campaign and The FA’s 150th anniversary celebrations

  • Established England as Europe’s most followed international team across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with over 12 million followers across platforms in 2016

  • Grew the reach of all of The FA’s social media accounts from two million to over 15 million followers, launching Instagram, Periscope and Snapchat.

  • Increased video views to over 250 million by December 2016 – up from 18 million in 2012

  • Introduced analytics tooling and benchmarking to track the performance of digital content

  • Was a key member of the leadership team that oversaw delivery of The FA’s first mobile responsive website.
